Primary Teacher is the full form of PRT. PRT teachers teach students up to 5th grade. The former must have at least a diploma in education and then must have a bachelor’s degree.

As we know before, PRT Teacher (Primary Teacher ) is only able to take class 1- 5th Class students of any School or educational Institution. But keep in mind before you want to take a class under 5th, you have to be eligible for this teaching work. These are the necessary criteria for Primary Teacher which are listed below.

  • You are qualified in Senior Secondary (or Graduation Degree) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma Course in any Recognized Board.

What Is The Difference Between TGT, PGT, and PRT?

 

TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) PRT (Primary Teacher)
TGT teachers are only eligible to teach classes of 10th and under 10th Class Students. PGT teachers are only eligible to teach classes of 12th and under 12th Class Students. PRT teachers are only eligible to teach classes till 5th.
The required qualification for a TGT teacher is to have a bachelor’s and 2 Years B.Ed degree with a minimum of 50% marks of total aggregate. PGT Teacher must have a Postgraduate Degree (MSc, MBA, M Tech, ) along with a 50% Marks of Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed, M.Ed). PRT Teacher must have D.EI.ED Exam Certification with the 50% aggregate marks of  10+2 or any equivalent exam.
